Dualie ("the App") is developed and operated by Opaic. The App provides dual-camera recording, trace overlay, and video compositing features. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account & Authentication

  • Dualie uses anonymous authentication via Supabase. No email address, name, or phone number is required.
  • An anonymous user ID and session token are generated automatically and stored securely on your device.

1.2 Subscription & Purchase Data

  • When you purchase a subscription or lifetime access, we receive the order ID, product ID, purchase receipt, and subscription status from Apple.
  • This data is used solely to verify your entitlements on our server.

1.3 Device & Usage Data

  • Basic device information (model, OS version, app version) and crash logs are collected to improve stability.
  • No analytics tracking beyond crash reporting.

1.4 Local Data Only — No Media Upload

  • All video and photo content stays on your device. Dualie does not upload your recordings, clips, or camera captures to any server.
  • Videos are saved to your local app storage or Photos library only when you explicitly export them.

2. How We Use Information

  • Authentication: Maintain your session and subscription status.
  • Subscription verification: Confirm purchase receipts with Apple to unlock Pro features.
  • Crash reporting: Diagnose and fix stability issues.
  • No advertising: We do not use your data for targeted ads or sell it to third parties.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:

  1. Apple — for in-app purchase verification and subscription management.
  2. Supabase — anonymous user ID and session token storage for authentication. No personal identifiers are stored.
  3. Legal requirements — when required by law or court order.

We do not access your camera or microphone in the background.

5. Data Storage & Security

  • Session tokens are stored in the device's secure keychain.
  • All server communication uses HTTPS/TLS.
  • Video content never leaves your device unless you explicitly share or export it.
  • We retain anonymous session data for up to 90 days after account inactivity.

6. Children's Privacy

Dualie is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your anonymous account data by contacting us. We will process requests within 15 business days.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this policy as features change. Significant changes will be communicated via an in-app notice.
