SnapCal Terms of Use
Last updated: August 1, 2026
These Terms govern your use of SnapCal, a notice-to-schedule productivity App operated by Opaic. By using SnapCal, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Service
SnapCal performs on-device OCR and cloud AI schedule extraction, then lets you review proposed Calendar events and Reminders before saving them. The App may provide limited free cloud usage through credits. Availability and limits may change as the service is improved.
2. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- importing only content you own or are authorized to process;
- reviewing dates, times, time zones, locations, recurrence, and reminders before saving;
- confirming that extracted information is appropriate for its intended use; and
- maintaining independent records for important deadlines, travel, medical care, legal matters, or emergencies.
Do not use SnapCal to process unlawful content, bypass service limits, probe the service, automate abusive requests, or interfere with other users.
3. AI Output and Accuracy
OCR and AI can misread or omit information. SnapCal highlights uncertain items when possible, but does not guarantee complete or error-free extraction. Proposed items are drafts until you confirm them. SnapCal is not a substitute for the original notice or professional advice.
4. Account and Usage Limits
SnapCal creates an anonymous account to authenticate cloud requests and enforce usage limits. We may suspend requests that are abusive, automated, unlawful, or create security risk. You may permanently delete the account from App Settings.
5. Your Content
You retain rights in content you import. You grant us and our processors a limited right to transmit and process that content solely to provide the requested schedule extraction, secure the service, and comply with law. We do not claim ownership of your notice content.
6. Apple Calendar and Reminders
SnapCal writes only items you select and confirm. Changes made outside SnapCal may affect undo or verification. You remain responsible for checking the final items in Apple's Calendar and Reminders apps.
7. Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, or improve the product. Cloud processing depends on network access and third-party providers and may be temporarily unavailable.
8. Disclaimer
SnapCal is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or perfectly accurate AI output.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opaic is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for missed events, deadlines, appointments, or reminders resulting from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Termination
You may stop using SnapCal or delete your account at any time. We may restrict access for material violations of these Terms, abuse, security threats, or legal requirements.
